In the first instance when looking for a care home, ensure the criteria of the home is appropriate

• Cleanliness
• Staff ratio
• Ask staff how long they have worked in the home
• Do they have an Activities Co-Ordinator
• Have Rooms got en-suite
• Is the size of home appropriate
• Do they provide menus
• Visiting times
• Do they organize trips
• Are you able to choose bedtimes.
